Growing Hope Globally and the Global Teach Ag Network are excited to present the Global Farmer Experience. Based on over 20 years of interviews, observations, and reports gathered while supporting sustainable agricultural development programs that have helped more than 2 million people find lasting solutions to hunger.
The Global Farmer Experience gives participants the opportunity to work through many of the choices and challenges that our programs encounter on a daily basis. As a family in an isolated river community teams wrestle with questions like “What crops should we grow? What risks should we take? And how do we want nonprofits to help us? It is an excellent simulation for helping students engage and think about hunger from a new perspective.
