Program Summary
This program supports food-vulnerable households in their wet and dry agricultural production activities to improvre their food and nutrition situation. It focuses on diversifying production and choosing the richest and most productive crops (promotion of improved seeds, market-oriented production and off-season vegetable production), as well as providing participants with knowledge, inputs, equipment and systems to prevent malnutrition and care for children at risk. Emphasis is also placed on building capacity to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change and adaptation through the continuation of conservation agriculture .
